Winter Magic Tunes & Tales @ Downtown Gatlinburg
Nov 29 @ 10:00 pm – Dec 22 @ 2:00 am

Gatlinburg spices up the holiday season with free weekend entertainment by presenting the Gatlinburg Winter Magic version of its Smoky Mountain Tunes & Tales program live on the Parkway on Friday and Saturday nights between Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve.

The company will debut at the Gatlinburg Festival of Trees and kick off the opening performance of the Nutcracker Sweet on Friday and Saturday, November 29-30, both at W.L. Mills Conference center.

Groups of Dickens-style holiday carolers dressed in traditional Victorian era costumes will stroll along the Parkway in downtown Gatlinburg from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on the evenings of November 29-30 and December 7, 13-14 and 20-21.

Zeno the Gatlinburg Bear will be delaying hibernation this year to make occasional appearances and greet holiday visitors on the streets as well.

During Gatlinburg Winter Magic, the City magically lights up the winter nights with dozens of spectacular light displays throughout town, featuring all LED bulbs. The length of the Parkway is lined by a forest of branches and scrolls, accentuating the timeless displays visitors have grown accustomed to over the past 24 years including animals indigenous to Great Smoky Mountains National Park, busy black bears, fanciful snowmen, dancing fountains, a group of international children, toy soliders and a shiny rocking horse.
